You know, bananas can go either way for people. However, we're talking about banana in small amounts--it's a flavoring not a main component. Between the flax and dried fruit you use, the banana does not stand a chance.

We use these daily here and the toddler is pooping like a champ. ;)

I always thought banana was one of the foods to avoid if a child becomes constipated easily.

I just recently picked up my box. It was my second time ordering from AFM. I ordered the signature box and a meat special. The meat quality was slightly lower than what I would normally purchase on the ground meat, but I thought it was a good deal. The steaks actually look pretty good. I cooked the roast last night in the slow cooker and it came out delicious! Over the weekend, we grilled the bratwurst and flavored chicken breasts. My only complaint thus far are the flavored chicken breasts. The cuts of meat were small and I didn't care for the flavor. However, others in my family did enjoy them. There are only two adults and one infant in my house and the box will last us for the month. I still go to the grocery for fresh produce (I like to get organic when I can afford it) and milk during the month, but I think it does help us save a bit on groceries.

There is another program out there called Food Share America. They have a wider variety of choices, including smaller boxes and ala-cart items. There are no fees, no commitments and no minimum purchase requirements. www.foodshareamerica.com

This page hits the spot. I've been craving for some good info and finally discovered it right here. I've been browsing around the whole morning to find a good post to tell me what I need to know, yet I have discovered like 34 other blogs that just gave me waste of time info!
